LOCAL SETTING

Pachacaid nestles in the hills running along the side of the valley 'de La Mole'.  It is 20mins stroll to the village of La Mole which has some very pleasant and traditional French restaurants.  (Menu about 23euros for 3 courses at the 'Relais D'Alsace', rising to 55euros at 'L'Auberge').  The nearest town, Cogolin, is about 7k away and has a large supermarket, banks etc.
Below are some pics which show the position of the campsite in the hills
The 'Chateau de la Mole' shown is a private residence and does not accept visitors.  The centre pics are taken from the Col du Canadel, a winding road which leads to the coast at Rayol and beyond.
For those with 'Googlearth' try a search on '83310 La Mole' and find the site close by.
